We have an exciting new permanent opportunity for a Business and Partnerships Development Manager to Identify, prospect and onboard new business opportunities for Course sponsorships, Hiring and Brand partnerships.

  • Salary: Up to ยฃ40,000 base + Meaningful equity options after probation
  • Deal comp, Uncapped: 10% on opportunities over ยฃ10k, and 5% on opportunities under ยฃ10k
  • Full-time, Remote
  • Position level: Mid-weight-Senior
  • Core Hours: Weekdays 09:00 - 18:00
  • Reports to: Careers and Sales Director Kieran Tudsbury
  • Interview Process: 2 Stages

  • A proven track record of engaging with decision makers whoโ€™s typical addressable spend is above ยฃ20k to identify, validate and peruse opportunities to win business
  • An ambitious person with significant drive to build up new business
  • A strong communicator willing to speak up, make decisions, and take calculated risks
  • Great presentation and written communications skills
  • A detailed thinker who's open-minded while meticulous about data and details
  • Someone with ability to see beyond their own problem space and dependencies to find solutions
  • A curious person who never misses an opportunity to disrupt an industry and embraces change
  • Community obsessed, our community are at the heart of everything we do; their success is our key mission
  • At least 4+ years of relevant sales, partnership or business development experience
    • Experience within education or recruitment is desired, but we're able to teach

๐Ÿช„ The responsibilities we'll trust you with:

  • Partnerships
  • You'll take a strategic approach to commercial partnerships and recruitment sales; understanding the relative impact and value of the Love Circular community within the context of sponsorship and commercial partnerships

    Identify key stakeholders within organisations that have the budgets and capacity to facilitate commercial partnerships

    Deliver against commercial revenue and profit targets as well as synergy and impact-related KPIs

  • Sales
  • Build key client-side relationships within the UK market to generate commercial revenue across from recruitment and training opportunities

    Manage the end-to-end sales process from initial market analysis, client approach and proposal creation, to final negotiations and contracting of partnership agreements

    Manage multiple clients, projects and targets simultaneously to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment

  • Careers team support
  • Work cross-functionally in assisting careers team to facilitate careers support that deepens understanding of community brand equity

    Use key careers support touch-points to further refine and develop new ideas for Partnership and Sales strategies

    Efficiently manage work schedule to accommodate weekly assistance within this team pre-series A funding

  • Collaboration & pitching
  • Collaborate with our marketing teams to generate ideas and build commercial proposals to deliver branded Love Circular content and sponsorship or hiring and training partnerships in a credible, profitable and authentic way

    Write and pitch commercial proposals to HR or relevant teams within UK organisations

    Demonstrate the premium brand equity and brand values of Love Circular in all internal and external interactions

๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿซ What you might not like about the role/Love Circular

  • As a startup, things can be ambiguous, there may be processes that haven't been created yet
  • We're not big fans of long meetings, they get in the way of doing what matters most, creating cool ๐Ÿ’ฉ. We have 3 team calls per week, all aimed to be finished within 20 minutes
  • Communication is predominantly asynchronousโ€“if it's a pressing matter, reach out for a call
  • WFH. You'll likely spend the majority of your time working alone
  • Given the nature of a startup, you'll likely be asked to learn skills to support different teams outside of your role
