What is a work session?

🧠
A guide to how our work sessions work

Definitions

Work session: A virtual co-working environment for deep work.
Deep Work: Ability to work in a state of deep concentration and focus for a long period of time, without distraction or interruption.
Pomodoro Technique: A time-management technique for breaking down work tasks. A 25-minute timer also called a sprint with break intervals at the end of each sprint.

Overview

The increased rise in remote work leaves many of us working in solitude away from co-workers, friends and fellow coursemates πŸ˜‰.

We discovered a way to recreate a productive remote working environment was using a Pomodoro Timer + Zoom calls for deep work. Work sessions are a great way to hold yourself accountable when working on tasks, we understand how easy it is to get distracted when working alone πŸ˜„.
